Summer Foraging Adventure with Outdoorsman Chef and Special Guest

Discover the wild foods of summer!
Join me and certified mushroom expert Kevin Bush for a guided foraging walk where you’ll learn to safely identify and harvest wild edible plants, mushrooms, and berries at their peak in late July. This hands-on experience is perfect for beginners and experienced foragers alike.
What to expect during our walk:
🔍 Learn how to properly ID summer plants and mushrooms
🌿 Talk about how to forage safely & learn about lookalikes both edible and inedible
🍴 Cooking tips for summer edibles we find along the way
What to Bring:
- Comfortable hiking shoes
- Bug spray and long sleeve pants and shirt (optional)
- Water bottle
- Basket or bag for collecting
- Notebook (optional)

Afterwards we will discuss some culinary applications for the edible plants/mushrooms we found along our walk. There will also be a free foraged snack at the end so don’t miss out! Feel free to ask any questions along the way otherwise we will have some time at the end of our class to answer any questions you may still have!
